saw something

Today I fell asleep and when I woke up I saw my cat on my dresser, but then I noticed that it was just the head of my cat floating there(not dead) and I kept blinking and it eventually faded away. What happened to me?

It sounds like a normal response. You're eyes can need time to adjust after waking.

I'd get scientific about it, but I don't know where my book is and I didn't pay that close attention in that lesson to spew out technical words lol =P

If it was mystical, it could have been a vision of something that'll happen in symbolic form (or literally, your cat's head will one day be found floating in water) or you had a very vivid hallucination. Or maybe your cat's trying to tell you something about its head. Maybe a vet visit is in order.

i think it was a hallucantion there little. tho just to be sure ya might wana take ur cat to the vet. tho i seen my cat do that every know and then it was his way of saying hey pay attention to something.

did u have a bad dram before? try to remember what u dreamed before u woke up. i would try and re-act the moment by placing your cat on the dresser and laying in bed. observe anything and everything. what might have happened is, sometimes this happens to me. when you woke up and sat up/stood up, all the blood rushed from your head. this happens especially if you slept in the same position for more than 3 hours without turning.
