Helping Someone Crossover

here is an 'instant magick' spell for those with a dying friend.

Intention: To open a temporary gateway between worlds.

Colours: Usually blue or purple.

Elements: Water (depending if it is for the land of the ancestors.

Chakra: Third Eye

Create a blue or purple sphere the body of the person or animal. While repeating "I open this gate to the spirit world for the highest good". Maintain a peaceful state while you do this. Wait until you feel a shift in yourself and the surrounding area. Then close it immediately. To avoid anything else from coming through. These entities won't be bad as long as you maintain peace.

Im asking this, why is it necessary to help someone ''crossover''?

At the most, what people usually do is pretty much telling the spirit they're dead and need to move on. So, what exactly is the purpose of this?

Guiding souls from this world to the next is not ours to do.

I agree with Neferah. I think that nature takes care of these things perfectly well, without any assistance from us. :)
