spell writing can be easy or hard. I prefer the easy way myself
1. what is it you want, what outcome?

2. How long do you want it to last or how long do you want it to take (always good to know)

3. timing. is it a increasing spell or a banishing spell.. if looking at doing it at night moon phases can help increase the spells power.. waxing -full moon for increasing, full - waning for banishing. You can also look up things like colours to add to it, but meh

4. Tools. what tools do you want to use? any? none?

5.writing the spell
For me I like it short and rhyming that way I can memorise it and repeat it without having to look at paper and read it.

But it can be as long as you want and it doesn't have to rhyme.
Just make sure your intentions and time frames are added.

And its done :)

I would also like to note that it doesn't need to be overly worded. For example, on a money spell you don't have to say why you need/want the money. Many details are covered in your intent while casting.
