Magical Music V. 1. This is a system of correspondences that I have created that are connected to the 12 months. This system of magic is meant to be alongside normal castings or ritual work to add extra “oomp” or to help get into a state of mind for your workings.

Paul Foster Case, fouder of the Builders of the Adytum, did much work on this subject. In addition to being the head of the Golden Dawn in the United States in the early 1900's, he was also an orchestra conductor. Much of the work in the BOTA involves the use of sound and specific musical notes, color and images. He took the magical axiom "By names and images are all thigs awakened" to new levels.

Much of what he did is geared spicifically to the study of Qabbalah, but the followig should be useful to all occult students:

Red; C; Aries; Mars; Fire.

Red-Orange; C#; Taurus.

Orange; D; Gemini; Sun.

Yellow-Orange; D#; Cancer.

Yellow; E; Leo; Mercury; Air.

Yellow-Green; F; Virgo.

Green; F#; Libra; Venus.

Blue-Green; G; Scorpio.

Blue; G#; Sagittarius; Moon; Water.

Blue-Violet; A; Capricorn; Saturn.

Violet; A#; Aquarius; Jupiter.

Red-Violet; B; Pisces.

Wow! Thanks for this thread everyone. I'll definitely start playing my ukulele with the right note intention before spells and see if it makes a difference

The notes or the chords. The major chords would have a more positive effect. The minor and dimiished chords would have a more negative effect.
