The Changeover. movie

"The Changeover" which is based on a YA novel by Margaret Mahy.A book near and dear to my heart. I'm actually quite excited about the movie, though understandable wary of any changes to modernize it, or make it more Dramatic. The book i feel Shows how the craft in a favorable light not as much of the dazzle of movie magic and can only hope carries over to the film.
I would like to hear others thoughts on the book or movie.

I have always considered 'the craft' and 'practical magic' to be very good movies. Obviously the magic is made all Hollywood, but they are at least more reasonable about it for the most part. I'm going to have to check out this one as well o see if i can add it to my list of favorites!

i Hope it lives up to the hype.
