I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this.
So, I am not fond of spiders. I found myself in a situation where I noticed one crawling on the ceiling while I was in the shower. (I hate being in this predicament as all I can do is imagine the spider jumping on me). When I noticed screamed like someone was murdering me. The spider slowly started crawling closer to me. After I composed myself a little bit, I told the spider to leave me alone for a little bit. (so I can finish my shower in peace). To my amazement the spider darted off into its hole only a moment after I asked it to leave.
I thought this was odd, I never expected it to work. It didn't run off when I screamed so I cancelled out the possibility of startling it. Regardless, I dismissed it and went about my day.
The next time I used the shower, the spider was on the ceiling again. I asked it politely to return to its hole and again, it scurried off. This is the second time now. I am starting to wonder if I am really able to communicate with the spider, should I try and get it to aide me in any way? but I am also quite scared of it. It's mostly black with possibly a white shape on the back of a swollen abdomen. It's possible it might have a painful bite
I'd definitely recommend figuring out if the spider is venomous before letting it stay in your bathroom. Black widows, for example, are black with swollen abdomens, and can appear to have a white spot due to being shiny. I'm not trying to scare you, and I somewhat doubt it's a black widow since it was crawling around in the open, I'm just saying that it's important to be cautious.
If it's not venomous, it's probably not an issue. I generally let non -venomous spiders stay in the house, as they often eat pests (some of them even eat venomous spiders). However, if it's really scaring you, you could ask someone else to remove it from the house.
As far as communicating with a spider, it's not really going to do specific things you ask of it, if that's what you're thinking. Personally, I do believe that animals can pick up on feelings from humans and respond to that, including if people are scared (spiders tend to be frightened of humans, so that could have been why it left). Basically, I think it's possible that it picked up on you wanting it to leave, but anything beyond that is pretty unlikely. It could also just be coincidence.
You can absolutely use this experience spiritually, though. If something about spiders resonates with you, you can look into that. Spirit guides and similar entities can manifest as animals, so if you're feeling a strong spiritual connection with spiders, it's possible there may be a reason.
