Egyptian goddess?

I'm looking into a deity a friend described and I have a strong feeling it's Egyptian is there a goddess with a blue dress gold trim and lots of jewelry along the dress?

If you are trying to find a goddess based on the unverified person gnosis of another person you are going to have a lot of trouble. Gods and Goddesses can appear differently to different people.

Best I can suggest is do an internet image search for egyptian goddesses and see what you find.

Blue and gold dress? Most Egyptian Goddesses [or deities in general] are depicted with red or white dresses.

Isis has blue and gold depictions. She's a mother goddess with wings.

I'm also inclined to think of Nut, the Sky Goddess. She isn't wearing a dress, but she's blue with gold stars on her body.

Before I'd start assigning a pantheon of any sort based on what you feel, I would go back to my friend and have her enlarge on what she told you. Does she feel that this is an Egyptian goddess? What other images does she get other than a blue and gold dress? Did this vision speak to her or give her any particular feeling or emotion? Since it is her vision, she is the one who would be most able to determine what it means to her. A blue and gold dress isn't clear enough to assign a pantheon. It could be any Deity from the Mary of Christian beliefs to Goddess from a wide variety of Pagan belief systems.

Is the goddess having more than two hands ie. 4, 8 or 10 hands ? I asked because most hindu goddesses have such features . Also most hindu goddesses are depicted wearing a lot of jewellery and many of them wear blue dress or have blue as their skin color. So if the answer comes out to be yes ,then feel free to mail me. I have an experience of deciphering a person's subconcious cognitions and telling their meanings (helped many of my friends in these matters).
