The main ingredient is obviously honey in a jar, usually clear and with a lid or seal.
A piece of parchment with the name of the intended person to sweeten that has been written in dove's blood ink. The edges of the paper are to be anointed with an anointing oil that aids the situation.
Herbs, crystals, and even charms can be added to help aid in the sweetening. You will want to use items that would correspond to your situation. Lavender buds are always in my jars as I feel it's easiest to sweeten someone's disposition if they are relaxed and calm.
Once the jar is sealed you can also light a candle that has been affixed to the top of the jar. This candle should be carved with intentions and anointed with oil similar to the parchment in the jar.
